Conveyancing is the legal transfer of the title of a property and any improvements to that property, from one person to another. A land titles register is maintained by the government in each state to centrally record ownership of property. The title is the record of ownership. Today there are still some suburbs that may still need to have ownership proved in this way. This is a very lengthy process which requires proof of ownership dating back for a period of not less than 30 years and thus the services of a competent conveyancing team will be of utmost importance to you. We advise you to keep any documentation you receive, as you might need to provide it when selling your property.

This is the day the representatives of all parties, including any finance providers meet to exchange documents.
